Wow, I don’t update this page nearly often enough.
I’ll blame the pandemic, but also the state of the world in general right now.
I haven’t posted on here since 2020, and since we’re now more than midway through 2022, I thought it was time.
In the time since my last update I’ve left my job at The Coast for a job with CBC PEI as an associate producer for the Island Morning radio show.
I miss The Coast — and Halifax — and it’s not out of the realm of possibility that I’ll be back in that city one day. I loved covering Halifax, from the small businesses that have been around for decades to the hot new restaurants in town. I’ve covered all three levels of elections, the housing and homelessness crisis, the 2020 Nova Scotia shooting, and learned how to be a better journalist in the process.
I started my new gig in June and have spent the past few months getting an immersion in audio, Charlottetown, and how much fun it is to work with such a talented group of people with a diverse range of experience. I can’t wait to take on more and report on this beautiful province that secretly has a LOT of news happening.

Until next time (which is hopefully more timely than this),
